News around the Fire Station
Since Santa Claus has to return to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas, this Saturday at 1 p.m. will be your last chance this year to ride on the fire truck with Santa. Kids of all ages are invited to come to the station and ride with Santa on the fire truck. Be sure and bring your cameras! There is absolutely no charge for this; firefighters will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Palmyra Food Bank or a new unwrapped toy to benefit the Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots drive. Come out and have fun with Santa and help our neighbors have a better Christmas!
Christmas Gift Hints
Having problems deciding what gift to buy for the person on your list that has everything? You can't go wrong by purchasing them a smoke detector or fire extinguisher. Better yet, buy them one of each. A smoke detector and fire extinguisher will always be the right size and color and will always be appreciated!
