The Palmyra Fire Department Fire Line
January 10 - At 5:31 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of a multiple vehicle accident on US-24 near West Quincy. Using rescue equipment, firefighters freed one passenger from his vehicle and assisted ambulance personnel with the injured. Firefighters returned to the station at 6:39 p.m.
January 15 - At 8:21 p.m., 911 dispatched first responders to a report of a woman in labor at a residence on North Bradley. Due to the nature of the call, one first responder rode to the hospital, assisting ambulance personnel with patient care. First responders returned to the station at 9:17 p.m.
January 16 - At 5:53 p.m., 911 dispatched first responders to a report of a patient having difficulty breathing at Bristol Manor. First responders assisted ambulance personnel and returned to the station at 6:13 p.m.
Annual Fireman's Dance
The 22nd Annual Fireman's Dance will be held this year on Saturday, February 13th at the American Legion Hall in Palmyra. Fun with a purpose, this dance enables the department to raise funds to buy much needed equipment and supplies. Tickets are $7.50 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any fireman, at the Agri-Med Veterinary Clinic or at Napa Auto Parts. We'll see you at the dance!
